NumisMedia Weekly Market Report
Happy Holidays!
December 17, 2018
Heritage Auctions just completed their final Signature Sale of the year, this one at their Beverly Hills location, and there were some impressive rarities included. There was a long list of $10 Gold Indians with the rare 1907 Wire Rim in PCGS MS66 taking top honors at $105,000. This date had an original mintage of 500 but these coins were never released to public circulation but instead were sold to coin dealers or given to various political figures. The population reports show well over 400 Mint State coins certified by PCGS and NGC combined with a single MS69 certified by NGC.
